Your Crew
Beyond Gravity is looking for a talented Component Engineer to join our team and support our sites with the latest flight-proven standard components. This role involves close cooperation with our engineers and supply chain, ensuring a structured approach to setting up our new system. You will join us in changing and refining the way we work in an innovative industry with endless opportunities for improvement. You will be part of a dedicated team with the ambition to innovate space!
Your Mission
As a Component Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our product development journey—ensuring that our standard parts not only meet but exceed expectations in performance, quality, and innovation. This is a role where your technical expertise and collaborative spirit will help shape the future of our products.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in the product development process, from concept to production.
- Partner with Purchasing, Planning, and Engineering teams to ensure the right parts are available at the right time and at the right cost.
- Your role bridges supply and design—making sure that component choices support both technical requirements and supply chain efficiency throughout the development process.
- Develop and maintain precise technical documentation for standard parts and assemblies.
- Participate in testing and validation of standard parts within our designs.
- Build and manage our standard parts library, contributing to a global community of excellence at BG.
- Help define new ways of working with standard parts in alignment with our evolving systems and tools.
Your Story
Must’s:
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience with product development and technical documentation.
- A structured and methodical approach to work.
- Familiarity with CAD systems—ideally Catia V5.
- Experience with PLM systems—preferably Teamcenter.
Nice to have’s:
- Sharp attention to detail—you know what matters.
- Ability to collaborate globally with designers and system engineers.
- A team-oriented mindset—flexible and dependable in project environments.
- Independence and self-drive—comfortable with flexible hours and partial remote work.
- Solid foundation in mechanical design and machine part engineering.
