Your Crew

The department is responsible for recording financial data, reviewing and reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations, generating reports, collaborating with other departments, supporting auditors and financial professionals, and preparing local statutory statements.

The Accountant position is located in our Center of Excellence in Lisbon. We are currently in an exciting transformation where we are growing a Tech Hub in Portugal. Together, we are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we are all connected.

Your Mission

• Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger for entities across the group.
• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts.
• Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards (internal and external).
• Generating financial reports.
• Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
• Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents.
• Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed.
• Performing month-end and year-end closing including reporting data into the consolidation tool.
• Preparing local statutory statements where needed

Your Story:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting role within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate and use SAP (S/4Hana highly valued).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Process-oriented thinking.
• Independent and conscientious way of working.
• Strong analytical and effective problem solving skills to identify and correct.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Very good knowledge of English. Other languages are a plus (German, French, Swedish).
• Attention to Detail, Accountability and Teamwork.
