We are currently in an exciting transformation where we are growing a Tech Hub in Portugal. Together, we are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, 
but we are all connected.
 
Your Mission
On top of assuming a role an Accounting Team Leader, the candidate must also handle the books of the newly created Portuguese legal entity.                         
- Managing a team of accountants providing services to the Group in different countries including recruitement, training, staff assessment and deciding on the distribution of work within the team                        
- Ensure Internal Control is adhered to and strenghten processes whenever needed                        
- Managing the books of the Portuguese entity  including all accounting aspects:                        
          - Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger                        
          - Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts                        
          - Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards (internal and external)                        
          - Generating financial reports                        
          - Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support                        
          - Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents                        
          - Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed                        
          - Performing month-end and year-end closing including reporting data into the consolidation tool                        
          - Preparing local statutory statements                        
                        

Your Story
- 3+ years of experience in accounting role within a multinational environment.                
- Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate and use SAP                
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel                
- Process-oriented thinking                
- Works on initiatives to improve project accounting operations and document management process                
- Independent and conscientious way of working                
- Strong analytical and effective problem solving skills to identify and correct                
- Ability to work on a team and independently                
- Experience in Finance Shared Services for a Global Company a strong plus                
- Selects and hires employees for the group mentioned above                
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting    
- Chartered accountant in Portugal
