Your Mission
The role of the Procurement Specialist is to support the different Business Units (BUs) in the execution of operational procurement activities including managing requisitions, 
processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
While reporting to the Director Supply Chain Management, the Procurment Specialist acts as a Business Partner to the different BUs.
The Procurement specialist will execute day-to-day purchasing activities, using procurement software and digital tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement platforms) to enhance the efficiency of purchasing operations, ensuring data accuracy, seamless order processing, and on-time delivery tracking.

 

•    Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories 
•    Contribute to and implement short- and long-term Make or Buy (MoB) strategies 
•    Act as a responsive business partner to the programs with responsibility for the assigned direct materials and early supplier integration in the development process 
•    Commodity Group management including supplier performance and risk management 
•    Conduct annual price negotiations and conclude agreements and framework contracts  
•    Lead the negotiation process for contracts and amendments, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies. 
•    Manage the negotiation of NDAs to protect the company's confidential information and intellectual property. 
•    Supporting project tenders with price estimates and early supplier involvement for the key components 
•    Coordinate and consolidate global spend across all sites, leveraging synergies for the assigned commodity groups

 

Your Story
Must’s: 
•    Technical education  BSs or MSc level combined with economic know-how, e.g. studies in Business & Engineering, Supply Chain Management  
•    5+ years strategic and operational sourcing experience with a solid working knowledge of global supply base management as well as supplier development and quality 
•    Demonstrated work experience on in category management 
•    Global Sourcing Experience 
•    Sensible and emphatic communication skills with internal and external stakeholders 
•    Deep understanding of the extended value stream flows on a global scale 
•    Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%
•    Hands-on team player 


Nice to have’s: 
•    Space Industry or Aerotech industry experience 
•    Technical procurement experience in turning & milling, electronic components, modules, cables, metal & non-metal raw materials, fibers, actuators; production equipment, jigs & machines/CAPEX 
•    Lean and Six Sigma education & experience
