You‘ll join a dynamic team , where your role will involve ensuring smooth logistics, efficient production, and timely delivery of our top-notch products. We are currently in an exciting transformation where we are growing a Tech Hub in Portugal. Together, we are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we are all connected.

 

Your mission

The design engineer develops the mechanical design and performs the configuration control of the project.

  • Perform mechanical design of adapter structures, separation systems and dispenser systems that are used to launch spacecrafts.
  • Perform mechanical designs in 2D and 3D for Non-Flight Equipment for Launch site.
  • Perform harness routing models for flight configurations in 3D.
  • Present designs for customers (mostly in English).
  • Work in close collaboration with colleagues in project groups.
  • Perform configuration control in projects.
  • Perform associated documentation.
  • Review drawings and documentation.
  • Develop concepts and estimate price for marketing and sales.
  • Participate in and evaluate tests.
  • Work in Designer tool Catia V5.


Your Story

  • Bachelor or Master of Science within Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience from product development and design work.
  • Experience from writing technical reports.
  • Experience from Catia V5 and FTA work bench.
  • Experience from working with composite structures.
  • Experience from working with harness routing.
  • Experience from SCRUM/agile methods in teams.
