Your Crew:

You‘ll join a dynamic team. We are currently in an exciting transformation in our Procurement department and this position will involve global responsibility,
together, we are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we are all connected. 

Your Mission: 

•    Driving the ongoing management of the purchasing strategy, with a forward-thinking approach that aligns procurement activities with the company's broader business goals.
•    Developing and implementing procurement strategies by analyzing spend, identifying opportunities, and executing plans that optimize procurement processes and support overall business objectives.
•    Establishing a strategic procurement framework to ensure purchasing decisions are integrated into the company’s wider objectives — leading to increased value creation, reduced risk, and greater operational efficiency.
•    Leading and developing your team in alignment with company values, business strategies, and long-term goals.
•    Strategically sourcing goods and services, developing both short- and long-term make-or-buy strategies in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
•    Executing strategic sourcing initiatives aimed at optimizing costs, strengthening supplier relationships, and enhancing procurement effectiveness.
•    Implementing risk mitigation strategies, such as dual sourcing for critical components or suppliers, to ensure supply chain resilience.
•    Continuously optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) while leading initiatives to achieve cost savings across the supply chain.
•    Managing commodity groups, including monitoring supplier performance, managing risks, and developing a robust supplier portfolio.
•    Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure strategic alignment, high performance, and a focus on continuous improvement.

  Must’s to have:

•    Strategic Purchasing – Higher Education Level / bachelor’s degree / MBA in SCM 
•    Experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships 
•    Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory requirements in the procurement domain - Aerospace and Defense industries 
•    Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams as well as working in a matrix organization 
•    Experienced in Leading a Team of Strategic Purchaser and/or Category Managers (min. 5 years) 
•    Good, Sensible and emphatic communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, social skills, negotiation and analytical Skills, and extensive linguistic ability (English and one additional relevant BG language (Swedish, German, French)  
•    Mentality to welcome challenges, to take the initiative, and to identify and seize opportunities. 
•    Strong intrinsic motivation 
•    High stress resistance and perseverance, being able to keep structured and prioritize in a complex environment. 
•    SAP S/4 Hana user knowledge 
•    High degree of assertiveness, decisiveness, curiosity 
•    Cooperative leader who puts success of team first
