Our Crew

The IT Workplace Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting the end‑user computing environment to ensure a secure, efficient, and modern digital workplace experience. This role bridges engineering and operations, focusing on device management, collaboration tools, identity, and automation, while continuously improving user experience and service quality.  

 

 

Your Mission

 

Digital Workplace & End‑User Computing 

  • Design, deploy, and manage modern workplace solutions (Windows, macOS, mobile devices). 

  • Ensure consistent, secure, and high‑quality end‑user experience across devices and platforms. 

  • Act as an escalation point (3rd line) for complex workplace-related incidents and problems. 

 

Device & Endpoint Management 

  • Administer and optimize endpoint management platforms (e.g. Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Jamf, SCCM). 

  • Manage OS deployment, configuration baselines, patching, and lifecycle management. 

  • Implement compliance, security, and conditional access policies for endpoints. 

  • Manage central Software packaging, configuration and distribution based on SCCM and MS Intune.  

 

Collaboration & Productivity Tools 

  • Support and enhance collaboration platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365: Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint). 

  • Management of Teams PSTN connections 

  • Work closely with stakeholders to improve adoption and effective use of workplace tools. 

  • Ensure availability, performance, and governance of collaboration services. 

  • Printer Management - 2nd and 3rd level support for different Printing solutions  

  • 2nd level support for Logitech and MS Teams Room environment for all BG markets  

  • Incident handling of Level 3 issues with main suppliers (MS, Logitech, ScreenBeam) and all future technologies  

 

Identity, Security & Access 

  • Collaborate on identity and access management (Azure AD / Entra ID). 

  • Support MFA, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust initiatives. 

  • Work with Security teams to align workplace solutions with security standards and policies. 

 

Automation & Continuous Improvement 

  • Automate workplace operations using PowerShell, scripts, or low-code tools. 

  • Improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency through standardization and automation. 

  • Contribute to service improvement initiatives and roadmap planning. 

 

Documentation & Knowledge Management 

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and architectural diagrams. 

  • Support knowledge transfer to Service Desk and operations teams. 

  • Promote best practices and standards across the workplace environment. 

 

 

Your Story

 

Must’s: 

  • Technical degree, preferably at university level
  • Appropriate technical experience, great technical interest and generally very good skills in IT 
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g. MD‑102, MS‑102, AZ‑104).
  • Experience with VDI/DaaS solutions (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix).  
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (Zero Trust, CIS, ISO 27001).  
  • Experience supporting hybrid or remote-first workforces.  
  • Exposure to ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms. 
  • Fluent English

 

Nice to have’s: 

  • Good project management skills
  • Experience and knowledge of Unix/Linux OS´s
