Your mission

The role of the Procurement Specialist is to support the different Business Units (BUs) in the execution of operational procurement activities including managing requisitions, 
processing purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
While reporting to the Director Supply Chain Management, the Procurment Specialist acts as a Business Partner to the different BUs.
The Procurement specialist will execute day-to-day purchasing activities, using procurement software and digital tools (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement platforms) to enhance the efficiency of purchasing operations, ensuring data accuracy, seamless order processing, and on-time delivery tracking.

Key responsibilities

•    Manage Purchase Requisitions in ERP system and assure on-time ordering of demands based on optimal order quantities
•    Create and issues Purchase Orders for recurring and negotiated material demands based on pre-defined suppliers and conditions
•    Manage Purchase Orders to assure up-to-date information at all time
•    Monitor existing Purchase Orders in the ERP system in respect to order acknowledgement from suppliers, overdue deliveries, overdue invoices (in collaboration with Accounts Payables)
•    Analyze procurement data and provide regular reports on purchasing metrics and cost-saving opportunities
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements in procurement workflows, including automation and digitization of routine tasks.
•    Work closely with internal teams (e.g., local and strategic purchasing, finance, operations) to align purchasing activities with project goals, budgetary requirements, and overall company objectives


Your Story

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,  Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
•    2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related function, ideally within a digital, technology, or innovation-focused environment.
•    Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and / or familiarity with e-procurement tools (e.g. Ariba).
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities 
•    Experience with data analysis, reporting, and procurement metrics.
•    Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry trends, and digital procurement innovations.
•    Excellent communication and social skills 
•    Results-oriented and assertive mindset 
•    Mentality to welcome challenges, to take the initiative, and to identify and seize opportunities.
•    Team player
•    Open-minded, strong communicator and networker, willingly involves others and shares information.
•    Fluent in English
