Ensuring the successful management and control of project schedules, costs, and performance, including risk assessment and KPI monitoring.
Your mission
- Building and maintaining project schedules: Develop comprehensive project timelines and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
- Developing and maintaining cost models: Integrate cost models into the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project schedule to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Ensure Resource requirements are part of the Project Schedule and maintained in the PM tool of choice.
- Ensuring WBS correspondence to project scope: Verify that the WBS accurately reflects the project scope and objectives.
- Monitoring and maintaining project completion: Track project progress and ensure milestones are met.
- Conducting weekly project meetings: Meet with relevant project managers weekly to discuss potential risks,opportunities, delays, levels of completion, and cost implications.
- Performing Earned Value Analysis: Analyze project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to assess project health and forecast future performance.
- Running KPI monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned projects and review them with project managers to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Most important output and KPIs:
- On-time, on-quality project execution (hardware and documentation)
- Contribution Margin in line with financial targets
- Program Financial Status Reports and Monitoring
Your story
- Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in planning, monitoring, and controlling projects.
- Industry Experience: Experience with commercial projects, ideally in a manufacturing-like environment such as energy, automotive, aerospace, or heavy machinery.
- Project Management Knowledge: Familiarity with PMI processes and project management styles is highly desirable
- Extremely structured and dependable.
- Great attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture.
- Proactive in seeking information and involving stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
