We are currently in an exciting transformation where we are growing a Tech Hub in Portugal. Together, we are a diverse team with different backgrounds and personalities, but we are all connected.
The Treasury Analyst is a key contributor within the Treasury function. Responsible for facilitating Treasury Back Office operations and the execution of day-to-day front-office duties.
The person acts as a key point of contact for other functions and external financial institutions, on topics including but not limited to trade finance (guarantees), inter-company lending,
FX trading and settlements, Liquidity management, cash forecasting for group entities and hedging requests.
The treasury analyst also contributes to ongoing projects and creation of reports, supporting the Senior Corporate Treasurer.
Your Mission
• Performing daily treasury tasks (bank account monitoring, financial deals validation, confirmation of cash flows with banks for time deposits, FX netting, non-deliverable forward fixing, interest rate & cross currency swap interest settlements, commercial papers etc.)
• Ensuring payments are sent to banks within the cut-off times (HQ scope); monitor payment status.
• Ensuring Intercompany Loan & FX Agreements are accurately produced and duly signed
• Preparation of monthly controls for Internal & External Audit
• Participation in monthly closing activities (analysis, reporting, valuations, reconciliations etc.)
•Updating and maintaining all bank documents (signatures) for all bank accounts at Corporate entities’ level and maintaining group overview of signatories for banks
• Maintenance of bank contact list and ensuring policies are adhered to
• System’s usage: SAP Treasury module, 360T (Trading Platform), proprietary online banking systems
• External Audit preparations (year-end bank confirmation circularization)
Your Story:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or related field
• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of related experience
• Strong attention to detail, quantitative skills, and commitment to professional integrity
• Solid analytical and logic skills: ability to identify problems, isolate causes, and formulate/present/execute solutions
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (MS Office)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in dynamic, matrix organisations
• Positive attitude and willingness to help out as needed
• Diligent in meeting deadlines and well organized
• SAP S4/Hana TRM knowledge
• Treasury management systems knowledge
• FIDES Treasury knowledge
• SWIFT structure knowledge and XML formatting knowledge
• Open minded / international mindset
• Likes to work on project work with related workload changes
• Self-starter and can work independently with a high degree of self-motivation
