We are now looking for a driven and enthusiastic Product Assurance Manager & Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Tampere, Finland.

 

Your Crew:

At our Tampere site, we are approximately 35 people responsible for the full product development flow, from design to production and final verification.

In this combined role, you will be responsible for Product Assurance and Quality Assurance activities related to our space activities in Tampere. You will work closely with experienced local colleagues while also being part of a strong global Quality team, collaborating with colleagues across different countries.

This is an opportunity to see the complete product development lifecycle within the electronics industry, from development through to the final product. You will be part of a growing high-tech company with the ambition to renew space.

Our products have contributed to exciting space missions such as Rosetta, Solar Orbiter and Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE).

 

Your Mission

As a Product Assurance Manager & Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products and processes meet the required quality, customer and regulatory standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, maintaining and continuously improving the Quality and Business Process Management System.
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of relevant quality policies, processes, procedures, tools and methodologies.
  • Managing the audit programme, including the organisation and follow-up of audits performed at Beyond Gravity Finland by external entities.
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001.
  • Supporting and strengthening a strong Quality Culture and continuous improvement mindset throughout Beyond Gravity Finland.
  • Acting as the point of contact for quality management-related topics.
  • Executing Product and Quality Assurance activities in accordance with project milestones.
  • Ensuring successful execution of customer, regulatory and internal quality requirements.
  • Working closely with cross-functional and international teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive effective solutions.
  • Supporting standardisation, efficiency improvements and the continuous development of quality practices.

 

 

Your Story

We are looking for a quality professional who combines strong technical understanding with a collaborative and pragmatic approach.

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in Product Assurance and/or Quality Assurance roles.
  • A good understanding of, and practical experience with, relevant quality engineering processes, tools and methodologies.
  • Experience working with quality management systems and standards, preferably ISO 9001.
  • A strong ability to solve technically demanding tasks and problems.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to share your experience and knowledge with others.
  • The ability to act as a change agent, driving standardisation, continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
  • A pragmatic, solution-oriented approach and the ability to act promptly and with a sense of urgency.
  • Enjoyment of working in cross-functional and international teams.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English.
