Your Crew

The Business Unit Electronic Solutions at Beyond Gravity manage all aspects of Beyond Gravity electronics products, including marketing and sales, product portfolio management, development, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and delivery. Marketing and Sales play a crucial role in promoting and selling our products. While our customers are located worldwide, we primarily focus on Europe and North America.

At Beyond Gravity you will work in an intellectually stimulating work environment, where exceptional customer offerings are achieved through strong cross-country collaboration and genuine team spirit. Our team consists of 12 dedicated individuals, led by Tom, who empowers us to challenge the impossible—whether on Earth or beyond!

 

Your Misson

As the Marketing and Sales Manager, it is imperative to have a holistic perspective and a passion for selling, developing our customer base, working strategically, and actively participating in the product portfolio strategy. You find your drive from working close to the customer, staying updated with customer needs and respond promptly to their requests or inquiries.

You will collaborate with a team of excellent colleagues who handle different aspects of proposals. Your role is to ensure that proposals are completed on time and new contracts are signed.

You will focus on the North American market, building up Beyond Gravity electronics product presence enabling for new and extended customer base for the future, while continuing developing the well-established relationships with our current customers.

  • You like to stay ahead by building customer networks, being up-to-date on business trends, market intel, and customer needs. Always sharing your knowledge with internal stakeholders anchoring a common understanding within the teams.
  • You create winning business strategies and Capture Plans, executing them seamlessly to ensure long term profitable growth.
  • You drive growth by taking charge of order intake, sales forecasts and our mid-range plan.
  • You seal the deal by leading the planning, pricing and negotiations for everything from a quick turnaround datasheet proposals to multi-year fixed price missions proposals.
  • You are our contact champion from the initial pitch to final signature, working close with our proposal teams including Key account Managers, Marketing and Sales peers, Product Portfolio Management, Chief Engineers and Legal.
  • You shape our future by playing a key role in modeling our product portfolio strategy, integrating new business opportunities and ensuring our marketing and sales processes stay cutting-edge.
  • You continue growing personally within Beyond Gravity as the company continues to grow through our employees’ curiousness, passion and drive to work together.

 

Your Story

  • MBA or related Masters degree in a relevant field (or equivalent) and solid experience in marketing, sales or project/product management.
  • Strong background in project-driven organizations, product strategy, and long-term customer relationships.
  • A good understanding of profit & loss and project economics.
  • Strong technical knowledge is a plus - whether it's computer science, RF-design, or antenna systems, you’ll be driven to understand how our products create real value for our customers.
  • Leadership skills to guide cross-functional, multi-national teams across our offices in Gothenburg, Vienna, Tampere and the US.
  • Having a strategic step-by-step approach to securing contracts and growing customer relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial thinker, solution driven, eager to make a difference
  • Ready to travel up to 25% when needed 🌍
