This position is responsibloe for leading the activities to industrialize the BU Alabama business as Project Manager, in terms of ramping up the new production line as well as ensuring the continuous improvements in the current line, in preperation to the increased costumer demand and product volumes.
Objectives is accountability to ensure on scope, on time and on quality deliveries in order to achieve the committed milestones and profitability towards our end customer and various stakeholders.
 

Job Responsibilities;

• Act as Project Manager for US industrialization activities
• Link to other management functions (eg. Program Manager, Strategy Manager, etc.) to understand company strategic visions and objectives and define requirements for implementation
• Lead the design, implementation and validation of state of the art manufacturing processes
• Ensure the manufacturing processes are in line with the industrialization requirements as well as the objectives of the project
• Identify and lead continuous improvement activities to guarantee the ramp-up to the needed volume
• Prepare project budgets, estimate and control costs
• Plan, organise and achieve project milestones (eg. concept definition, implementation, verification and validation)
• Coordinate the project interfaces and plan the needed resources
• Manage issues and anomalies and support process Root Cause Analysis
• Approve maintenance works, purchasing of equipment, improvement of tooling, etc.
• Coordinate multiple functions across all sites
• Ensure output meets Quality standards
• Enforce Health and Safety precautions
• Secures that the relevant competence is available and continuously developed within the project team
• Periodically report to Director Safety, Quality and Transofrmation as well as to the VP BU Alabama
• Perform all duties according to the Company’s Values and Code of Conduct

• Strategic project Business Case and Return on Investment (ROI)
• On-time, on-budget and on-quality project execution and implementation
• Established processes capable to meet the needed takt time and cycle time
• Change Management with focus on costs, timing, and content

​​​​​​​Job Requirementes:

• Education in Engineering, M.S. level preferred
• Proven experience as project and / or production/industrial manager. PM Certificate (e. g. PMP, IPMA, ..) is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Space operations and requirements
• Understanding of lean manufacturing, industrialization and commercial requirements
• Understanding of Quality standards and Health & Safety regulations
• Experience in reporting to management on KPI
• Experience in MS Office
• SAP system experience a plus
• Willing to work in an international environment and to travel
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills
• Solution driven, commercial mindset
• Outstanding communication and teamwork ability
• High stress resistance and perseverance, able to keep structured and prioritize in a complex environment
