The Quality System Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and verification of the Quality Management System requirements. Results-driven Lead Auditor with extensive experience in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, specializing in driving compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Proven ability to lead internal and external audits, identify systemic issues, and implement robust Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) strategies.

Quality System Management at Beyond Gravity is all about ensuring compliance to ISA 9001 – AS9100 standards, enforcing a Learning Organization that leads the Space Industry improvement rate and guarantees customer satisfaction. Expert in leveraging data analytics to uncover trends, reduce defects, and enhance process performance across aerospace and manufacturing environments. Adept at cross-functional collaboration, risk-based thinking, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and customer requirements.

 

Your Mission

Responsibilities

  • AS9100 & ISO 9001 Compliance
  • Lead & Internal Auditing (ISO 19011)
  • Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA, 8D, 5 Whys)
  • Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • EASE Layered Process Auditing Tool
  • Data Analytics & KPI Monitoring
  • Risk Management & Process Improvement
  • Supplier Quality & External Audits
  • Continuous Improvement (Lean / Six Sigma mindset)
  • Develop and sustain the Quality and Business Process Management System
  • Manage the audit program and findings processing
  • Manage CAPA process as required
  • Embed Quality Culture throughout Beyond Gravity
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout Beyond Gravity 

 

Main Tasks: 

  • Maintenance and development of the BPM
  • Contribution to the creation and implementation of all relevant policies, processes, and procedures from the Quality Management.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with the Quality Management System (AS9100 / EN9100).
  • Lead, support and coach on Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventive Actions
  • Cost Of Poor Quality (CoPQ) analysis & reporting to drive Business Improvements
  • Support and coach Beyond Gravity PA & QA Community as requested by the Business
  • Regulation, control, and improvement of the Quality of all processes.
  • Organization and follow-up of the audits performed at Beyond Gravity by external entities.
  • Planning and management of the internal and supplier’s audits.
  • Management of the CAPA and follow-up of their implementation as required
  • Control and monitoring of the Alert process for Beyond Gravity, including maintenance of the internal Alert database.
  • Identify improvement opportunities within Beyond Gravity.

 

Your Story

  • 2-5 years of Relevant experience in the field of Quality and Continuous Improvement
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 2 years of Quality or Mission Assurance
  • Knowledge of standards such as AS9100, EN9100, ECSS, NASA and MIL
  • Ability to quickly understand and analyze technical products/systems and their function
  • High level of theoretical skills in relevant fields with an adeptness to coach hands on practical elements “on the floor”
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • MS Office experience required
  • Experience in the application of Quality preventive methodology (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone…)
  • Ability to work independently, as well as effectively in a team
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • High level of enthusiasm and a passion for quality and continuous improvements
  • 5% to 10% ability to travel nationally and internationally as required
