Beyond Gravity is the preferred supplier of structures for all types of launch vehicles and a leader in selected satellite products and for constellations in the New Space sector. Beyond Gravity also uses its space knowledge for applications outside of space technology: The high-precision products have already been used in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years.

This position is responsible for identifying key suppliers and building value added relationships in order to facilitate the sourcing process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementing improvements based on quantitative evaluation.
• Preparing and executing sourcing plans.
• Evaluating market conditions and risk management plans.
• Identify key supplier and build value added relationship in order to facilitate the sourcing process.
• Responsible for negotiating LTA and supply contracts
• Negotiate pricing, quantity, and delivery schedules.
• Works in conjunction with legal council to review details of negotiations.
• In depth knowledge of company’s commodities.
• Create and maintain various metrics
• Responsible for the strategic development of their assigned suppliers.
• Extensive travel involved to establishment sound relationships and verification of supplier capabilities.
• New Product Development Support.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing practices.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Business Administration - Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be able to communicate with everyone within an organization from persons on the shop floor to CEOs of major corporations
• Ability to analyze diverse data sets
• Ability to work with multiple priorities
• Must practice good judgment which allows the individual to commit to the most appropriate action after considering alternative courses of action.
• Must have leadership skills that will allow the buyer to persuade others to also accept this action and help implement the action plan.
• Experience: 5 > 10 years
• Domestic Travel Required: 25-50%
• Ability to work in cross functional team and international settings
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team, prioritize requirements, and work in a goals oriented manner.
• Proficient communicator and positive interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent organization skills
