Beyond Gravity is seeking an experienced technical trainer to assist in developing a state-of-the-art training program and deliver engaging technical training for its growing workforce.
Your Mission
- Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are followed during training and incorporated in training development.
- Work with Engineers and Experts to develop and implement establishm standardized curriculum for production technicians (Lectures, Labs, and video turtorials)
- Ensure that all team members certified and compliant AS9100
- Upholds the norms for production training, such as course content, length, delivery methods, instructor preparedness, etc.
- Provide “Train the Trainer” training adapted to company’s production needs.
- Upholds standards for instruction onsite (standard work training and expectations for module centers to follow and direct their use of available resources for learning).
- Actively involved in infrastructure development, curriculum repository and strawman tools for proficiency and training tracking in production environments (consistent forms and methods) for Training Coordinators use
- Drives consistent use of training evaluation tools and feedback to enable continuous improvement of curriculum and customer feedback
- Leverage best practices from training norms for production associates where applicable, and drive use of new practices needed to optimize production-based learning
- Collaborate and communicate with HR, SME teams, and Production Associate Supervisors as necessary to develop standard work for production training, approaches to curriculum delivery, methods of delivery, and sharing of best practices
- Works to gain familiarity with shop environment, exposure to requirements, procedures, key processes for in-scope learners using the curriculum, through collaboration shop cell leaders, Operations management, Operators and Production/team leaders
- Support development of continuous improvements operations methodology by providing training in the following areas: Kaizen events, flow simulation exercises, Root Cause Corrective Action and more
Your Story
- Experience developing and delivering technical product training programs employees, and field support
- Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Technical Experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience as a Technical Trainer (Master Training Specialist/Basic Instructor certification from Department of Defense considered equivalent)
- Experience with Continuous Improvement/Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, etc
- Experience with video editing for training development
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish professional rapport with others in a small team environment
- Quality management systems experience (AS9100).
- Experience/Proficiency with SharePoint site development, Power Automate, and Power Apps
- Dedicated trainer looking to make an impact in the development of a premier training program.
- Willing to the extra mile to ensure quality training is provided
- Provides unbiased evaluation of skills and potential
- Engaging personality that works well in both delivering training and working with others to develop training and process training requirements.
- Ensures a safe training environment during practice labs and practical evaluations.
