Your Mission:
- Requests for quotation for prototype, flight and serial parts/materials as well as production required jigs & tools
- Together with the Material, Component and Design Engineers selection of possible suppliers based on the technical, economic and quality requirements
- Support the Material, Component and Design Engineer with clarification of the technical feasibility to the suppliers and introduction of (alternative) solution proposals (design to cost) from suppliers in the concept phase.
- Negotiating prices and conditions as well as establishing framework agreements and contracts together with the Parts Engineer.
- Representing commercial aspects of material sourcing during the product development process (BOM, specification/drawing availability, meeting cost targets and manufacturing deadlines)
- Highlight potential deviations from plan (cost, time, quality), and together with the Material, Component and / or Design Engineer defining and ensuring counter actions
- Support with the calculation for customer offers, providing procurement parts and materials cost overviews
- Continuously optimizes total cost of ownership (TCO) and drives savings initiatives
- Ensure all externally sourced BOM parts, materials and jigs are available in line with the project milestones
- Maintenance of ERP procurement article data, considering the quality requirements defined by the Material, Parts and / or Engineer.
- Ensuring the sourcing in line with the company’s and general legal sourcing rules.
- Issuing and follow-up orders (if applicable together with the Purchasers, Buyers and Parts Engineer).
- Together with the Material, Component and / or Design Engineer, actively participate in supplier qualification and development
- Occasionally carrying out incoming goods inspections (check of documentation, check for completeness, etc.) in support of the technical specialists for delivered goods
- Issuing and follow-up on supplier quality claims together with the Material, Component and / or Design Engineer
- In her/his area of responsibility taking lead in process improvements

- Project Procurement Plan in line with supplier portfolio and all technical requirements as defined by the Engineering departments
- Total BOM parts and materials availability in line with project and operation milestones
- Meeting or undercutting project BOM costs
- High Supplier Quality Performance
- PPV savings > 3%
- VAVE (Value Added Value Engineering) savings > 3% co-owned with Engineering
Your Story:
Must’s:
- Completed technical and/or commercial education
- 3+ years in-depth technical and operational sourcing experience
- Good technical understanding
- Experience in global sourcing
- High awareness for costs and quality
- Good negotiation skills and high drive for results
- High reliability and adherence to deadlines
- Experience working in project environment and multifunctional teams
- Experience in the use of ERP system and related procurement administrative and control tasks
- Good command of MS office
- Sensible and emphatic communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Fluent German and English

We are required to state a minimum gross salary for this position in accordance with the collective agreement: this amounts to EUR 4.473,- per month. The actual compensation is based on your qualifications and experience and will exceed the collective agreement minimum.
