Your responsibilities

• Proactive “right- hand” off the VP of the Business Unit (BU) in all financial matters within the Business Unit
• Drives P&L and FCF together with BU leadership
• Prepare and communicate monthly performance reporting to senior management providing insights and recommendations on finances.
• Responsible for monthly controlling reports with target performance comparison
• Continuously review project performance and drive profitability analysis
• Project and cost center controlling
• Improve and foster project controlling processes in collaboration with program
• Financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Financial modelling of projects including pricing (business cases)
• Make or buy assessments and CAPEX management
• Responsible for educating organization in financial matters concerning project controlling
• Support external audits 
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-improvement opportunities
• Coordinate, drive and continuously improve program budget and forecast process
• Actively drive development and adaptation of tools to optimize performance
• Execute special projects within finance & controlling

Your profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equal
• Experience in project accounting analysis, business controlling, reporting, controlling functions and responsibilities
• At least 5 -7 years of experience of business control (preferably within similar industry interfacing customers in Project Delivery)
• Profound understanding of accounting and reporting systems and analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, QLikSense, Jedox (other tools are qualifying)
• ERP systems; SAP knowledge is qualifying
• Fluent in English & German written and spoken
• Good communicative skills, ability to share knowledge and empower the organization will be of utmost importance
• Proactive attitude, good problem-solving skills and decision-making
• Thrive in a changing environment and able to adapt to changes and new demands persistently
• Act as business partner, influencing force and self-driven mentality
• Furthermore, you are people oriented and able to cooperate cross-functionally. You must be able to communicate complex data and recommendations in English
