Your Crew
You will join our Engineering Applications IT team, a multidisciplinary group of nine experienced professionals located across Beyond Gravity's global sites. Together, we enable and support the work of our engineering communities by managing, maintaining, and continuously improving a diverse portfolio of applications used to design, develop, simulate, and validate cutting-edge products for the space industry.

Your Mission
As CAD Application Specialist, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, operation, and support of engineering applications used in mechanical design and product development, including Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5 and Siemens NX.
In this role, you will ensure the reliable deployment and operation of these applications, manage their lifecycle, support integrations with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, and provide expert assistance to end users. Working closely with key users, engineering teams, and other IT stakeholders, you will help align technical solutions with business requirements while continuously improving system stability, performance, and efficiency.
CAD Configuration & Support
- Deliver, configure and customize CATIA V5 and NX to meet business requirements
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for CAD incidents, ensuring root cause identification, resolution and system stability
- Support management of product structures and Design BOMs
- Support minor enhancements and configuration changes based on business needs
CAD Integration (PLM)
- Support and optimize CAD integrations with Teamcenter
- Analyze integration issues and coordinate fixes across systems
- Troubleshoot CAD-related issues impacting product data, revisions or releases
- Collaborate with CAD application responsibles and engineering teams to ensure efficient CAD–PLM usage
- Contribute to digital thread initiatives (PLM–MES–ERP alignment)
Operations & Governance
- Support testing (UAT/system testing) and release cycles
- Maintain documentation for configurations, processes and changes
- Provide training and guidance to key users and engineering stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes within CATIA V5 and NX
Your Story
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
- Siemens Teamcenter / PLM-related trainings and certifications (advantage)
- Strong experience with CATIA V5 and/or NX configuration, operations and support
- Solid understanding of CAD processes
- Product structures / Design BOM management
- Standard Parts creation and management
- Change management / lifecycle
- Experience in application support (L1/L2/L3)
- Basic understanding of system integrations (PLM)
- Fluent in English, German is nice to have
Nice to have’s
- Experience with MCAD integrations (preferably Siemens Teamcenter)
- Experience in aerospace / defense / regulated manufacturing environments
- Understanding of engineering-to-production data flows
