Your Crew

 

You’ll be part of our 5-person Innovation team based in our brand-new Zurich office. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and developing design solutions for Launcher Subsystems in R&D projects, all while exploring and advancing cutting-edge technologies and creating value for our customers. This diverse team comprises highly skilled engineers from various backgrounds and nationalities, each bringing their unique perspective to the table. Your Mission

  • Develop conceptual and detailed design solutions for launcher subsystems, mechanisms, test setups and prototypes in R&D projects, both internal and customer-oriented
  • Conduct simple to complex design tasks applying our standard CAD system
  • Write and review technical documentation, project related deliverables and other specifications
  • Proactively communicates and aligns cross-functionally with adjacent engineering functions and other departments such as operations, quality and procurement.
  • Support continuous improvements and propose market-oriented initiatives to improve existing products, technologies and production processes, including harmonization of product families, with DtC and DfM in mind
  • Represent their engineering field during meetings and reviews with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders

 

Your Story 

  • University bachelor or master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as design engineer or equivalent role in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Extended CAD software experience, preferably with Catia V5 and V6, ERP (e.g. SAP), PLM (e.g. Enovia or Teamcenter)
  • Proficient in English, German is an asset

 

  • Nice to have’s:
  • Knowledge of the space industry and market
  • Hands-on and DIY aptitude to support prototyping
  • Experience in large composite structures and composite design
  • Experience in CAE analyses
  • Experience in product industrialization
