Your Mission

 

  • Electrical design and development of mechanisms for space applications, as well as the associated harnesses
  • Review of electrical requirements. Provide and justify statement of compliance matrix and associated  verification compliance documents in close collaboration with System Engineers
  • Preparation, participation and leading of meetings i.e., for technical design reviews with suppliers and/or with the customer-chain
  • Design and management of simple, high-reliability Flex/Rigid-Flex PCBs by use of Altium Designer or Siemens Xpedition
  • Definition of requirement specification for space electronics in accordance with the upper-level  requirements
  • Shadow engineering and technical subcontractor management for space electronics
  • Preparation of technical project offers and alignment with potential subcontractors / suppliers.
  • Planning and leading of qualification and acceptance test campaigns (e.g. functional combined tests, EMC test campaigns, and micro-vibration tests)
  • Specification of EGSEs and support during the commissioning
  • Provide electrical support for potential NCs and participate in non-conformance review boards and  investigations (e.g., root-cause analysis, proposal and evaluation of mitigation actions)
  • Provide English-written technical documentation e.g., interface control documents, parts stress analysis and radiation analysis
  • EEE parts engineering, i.e., preparation of DCL, PAD and participation in part control board meetings
  • Analysis and simulation of electrical circuits by means of dedicated software
  • Supporting manufacture and assembly of mechanisms and harnesses with respect to electrical components and properties

 

Your Story

 

  • Bachelor, Master or University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Experience in space industry is a strong asset
  • Proven experience in writing technical documentation
  • Experience with Altium Designer and/or other PCB design tools is a strong asset
  • Knowledge in different radiation aspects like TID, SEE, etc. is an asset
  • Experience with simulation of the electronic circuits using SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink or other simulation tool is a strong asset
  • Experience in planning and executing functional performance tests and EMC test campaigns (CE, CS,
  • RE, RS and ESD), including documentation and analysing the tests results is a strong asset
  • Technical understanding of space quality standards (NASA / ECSS / MIL) and EEE components
  • Experience working in lab environment/clean rooms
  • Experience in microelectronics, programming of microprocessors and FPGAs and programming in LabView is nice to have
  • Advanced and proven level of English (spoken and writing); German and/or French is an advantage
  • Self-organized, proactive person, able to manage different projects in parallel
  • Committed and rigorous in the daily work, good communicator and team player
