Your Mission

We are looking for an experienced and driven professional to take on a challenging and diverse role within Facility Services. Combining technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a strong customer focus, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and sustainable management of our facilities across Switzerland, with a primary focus on our Zurich location.

In this key role, you will take overall responsibility for operational facility management activities across multiple sites in Switzerland. You will ensure that our buildings are safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective while creating attractive and productive work environments for employees and business partners.

As the central point of contact for all facility-related matters, you will manage service providers, oversee budgets, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the highest levels of service quality and operational excellence.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage operational facility management activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant building operations
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, technical building infrastructure, and workplace services
  • Manage and monitor external facility management providers and specialized contractors, including SLA and KPI performance management
  • Take ownership of budget planning, cost control, forecasting, and implementation of efficiency and optimization measures
  • Manage workplace and space management activities, including relocations, workplace adjustments, and space optimization initiatives
  • Lead renovation, fit-out, and infrastructure projects and ensure successful operational handover
  • Develop and continuously improve processes, standards, sustainability initiatives, and digitalization projects
  • Advise internal stakeholders and develop customer-focused facility management solutions
  • Prepare analyses, management reports, and decision-making materials
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and oversee health, safety, fire protection, and emergency management concepts
  • Define, monitor, and analyze relevant KPIs to continuously improve service quality, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Finance & Controlling, Category Management, Corporate Security, property owners, landlords, and external partners

 

 

Your Story

  • Degree, professional qualification, or further education in Facility Management, Building Services Engineering, Real Estate Management, or a related discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in Facility Management, Building Management, or a Corporate Real Estate environment
  • Proven experience in contractor management, budget and cost management, and project execution
  • Solid knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer focus with a service-oriented and solution-driven mindset
  • Independent, structured, and pragmatic working style with a high level of ownership and accountability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills; French is considered an advantage
