Your Crew:
Work alongside members of the satellite - strategic space project team who bring decades of experience to the table! Our international team based in Zurich will support you in advancing the crucial work for our Digital Twin. Using your hands-on approach, take ownership in shaping solutions that have a direct impact in the strategic decision of the division: this internship gives you a unique opportunity to build applications that will be used daily within the company and also with external partners. This is a great occasion to learn new skills and to push yourself beyond expectations.
Your Mission:

Collaborate with engineers to create and refine digital twin (DT) modules around subsystems (such as AOCS Controller or Satellites Unit Power Consumption)

Interface with the GUI and allow the user to generate specific amount of data inputs data connected with other existing modules of the DT

Create plot rendering based on simulation outputs

Establish Documentation of the development and methodology, including a description of the environment, the installation procedure and configuration, as well as a thorough handover documentation.

Take responsibility and ownership to ensure the digital twin code is set up correctly

Supporting various integration works with third parties to exchange packages
Your Story:

Enrolled in Bsc. or Msc. at a technical university or similar in the field of aerospace engineering, system engineering, or software engineering.

English working proficiency and German is a nice to have
-
Coding language: being able to program in Python as a baseline, implement tests and documentations, MatLab and Simulink are a plus

Space engineering: a good understanding of satellite orbital mechanics, mission and systems is a plus
