Your Crew:
Join our M&P team, where you will develop cutting-edge satellite systems for the space industry of tomorrow. You will work in a multicultural environment, working hands-on with our experts on the latest project for a wide range of customers. You will support the manufacturing and testing of different parts and get to lead your own projects. You will have the opportunity to outperform yourself and learn something new every day, with unique chances to go Beyond! The M&P team is looking for an Intern for a period of minimum 6 months.
Your Mission:
· Write the technical documentation required to qualify materials & processes used in space applications
· Define how to characterize different materials and processes used in our products, such as metals, composites, surface treatments, etc.
· Supervise the manufacturing and testing of specimens
· Analyse test data and provide your interpretation based on the theoretical knowledge you have acquired during your studies
· Develop and validate new processes
Your Story:
· Master or Bachelor student in Material Sciences or Mechanical Engineering. You need to be at least in the 5th semester of your Bachelor
· Very good German and English (min B2). You need to be able to communicate in the daily business
· Any experience in the aerospace industry and / or with composite materials (CFRP) would be a plus (but not a must, you are here to learn!)
· Critical thinker, you like to face challenges and independently find the optimal solution in a rational manner
· Excellent team-player, you will join a tight-knit group where helping each other is key
