Materials & Processes Engineer (all genders)

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Define, plan, coordinate, evaluate and document the development, characterization, and qualification of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Prepare and presents technical & technological presentations and documents in English during negotiations and reviews internally, with customers, and with suppliers.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and quality to define work instructions, specifications, equipment, materials, inspections, and training.
  • Support the quality department in obsolescence management, defining and qualifying alternatives.
  • Support the supply chain and quality department for supplier and internal audits as material & process expert

 

Your Profil

 

  • Master’s degree or higher in Material Science, Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an equivalent field
  • Profound knowledge of materials & processes in the following fields: Non-metallic materials, in particular resins and adhesives bonding and curing materials & processes; Metallic materials & processes, surface treatments, galvanic processes, soldering, crimping.
  • Ideally ECSS / IPC soldering and crimping or other quality certifications
  • Active team player, creative and open-minded, strong communicative skills
