Cleanliness Engineer (all gender)

For our site in Zürich Seebach, we are looking for a Cleanliness Engineer to be engaged in the cleanliness and contamination control process of series manufacturing of actuators for semiconductor EUV lithography equipment. The resource person will become a member of the Cleanliness Engineering Team of the Quality Group of Lithography Business Unit (no Aerospace position) and be part of the world's unique value chain that is shaping the next generation of microchips.

 

your responsibilities

 

  • Engineering and optimization of the entire process chain regarding cleanliness requirements
  • Enforcement and verification of cleanliness and contamination control in cleanroom, with continuous improvement of the procedures, including regular inspections and chemical analysis of hardware and cleanroom facilities
  • Enforcement and verification of cleanliness and contamination control at suppliers of parts, including materials characterization
  • Elaboration of all documentation about cleanliness and contamination control, cleanroom
  • management and precision-cleaning processes
  • Cross-group cooperation with Quality/Product Assurance, Manufacturing Engineers, Operations, System Engineering, Procurement Office, Materials and Processes Engineering
  • Non-conformity troubleshooting, root cause analysis, data interpretation and implementation
  • of corrective measurements
  • Training and support to In-Line-Quality and Cleanliness Inspectors
  • Report to the customer on a regular basis

 

Your profile

 

  • University or UAS/FH Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry or similar
  • Previous experiences as a quality specialist or inspector is a plus
  • Expertise in X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy is a plus
  • Previous work experiences in cleanroom in industries with similar cleanliness requirements
  • (Semiconductors, Pharma, etc.) is a strong plus
  • Full proficiency in both German and English
  • Willingness to work in cleanroom to support production
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with hands-on mentality
  • Smart, reliable, flexible, respectful and self-disciplined, having a global mindset to be able to work in an international work environment
