Your responsibilities

 

  • Lead and coordinates technical activities with the objective to meet requirements within the given budget and agreed schedule
  • Leads and coordinates technical proposals, quotations, concept work and trade studies.
  • Support processes and product continuous improvements. Propose market-oriented initiatives to improve existing technologies and production processes
  • Breaks down the technical requirements to subsystems generating specifications for customer, supplier and subcontractors. Tracks the requirements compliance status
  • Plans technical work packages, e.g. through the Design Development and Verification Plan
  • Write and review technical documentation, project related deliverables and other specifications (e.g. Test Plan)
  • Carries out technical risk management and perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Provides engineering support to production
  • Represent his engineering field during negotiations and reviews with customers and suppliers or subcontractors. Is the engineering point of contact for customers

 

Your profil

 

  • University master’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Minimum five years of experience as systems engineer or equivalent lead engineer role in a relevant
  • engineering discipline (e.g. stress engineering, thermal engineering)
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Nice to have’s:
  • Experience with Composites design is an advantage
  • Experience with IBM DOORs for requirements management is an advantage
  • Knowledge of the space industry and market
